HOW TO DRAW

Here you will find some great "How to Draw"  videos you can follow along with. Remember it doesn't have look exactly like the video. Add your own style! And it is okay to make mistakes. Just think through what you can do to fix your mistake. I'm sure your drawings will be amazing!!  

  • Young Rembrandts: This YouTube channel is great for my younger artists (Kindergarten through 3rd Grade) to learn how to draw with the Young Rembrandts 
  • Art For Kids Hub: This YouTube channel is great for ALL AGES! We have completed some of these in art class. There are lots to choose from. It is ALWAYS fun with Art for Kids Hub
  • Muffalo Potato: Draw anything using numbers and letters! A little something for ALL AGESMuffalo Potato
  • Draw Everyday with JJK: YouTube channel for New York Times-bestselling author and illustrator Jarrett J. Krosoczka. Everything from the Punk Farm picture books to the Lunch Lady graphic novels. Good for ALL AGESDraw Everyday with JJK

  • Learn How to Draw some "Tangles": Art teacher, Nicole Hahn has a series of videos demonstrating how to draw different Tangles that you can use to create a Zentangle. Good for ALL AGESDrawing with Nic Hahn

Here some great YouTube channels that provide ideas for various art projects using a varity of art mediums.

  • Mister Maker: Mister Maker provides fun art making episodes. This is great for the young artisits (Kindergarten through 2nd Grade). You can get great art project ideas from him or he is just fun to watch! Mister Maker on YouTube
  • Artful Parent: A "Simple way to fill your family's life with art and creativity." This YouTube channel provides  art lessons with guided instruction exploring a mix of art mediums. Great for all ages! The Artful Parent 
  • Kids Art Week Lesson with Carla Sonheim: Carla will take you step by step through an art project inspired by a famous master artist. Great for all ages!  Kids Art Week with Carla Sonheim
  • FOR MY 5TH GRADERS: Here is a link to the video I showed you when we were learning the origami folds for our Radial Relief Sculpture.
